Carlisle SynTec FleeceBACK® TPO Protects Oklahoma City Aircraft Facility

In mid-2023, construction began on an 842,043-square-foot aircraft engine component warehouse in Oklahoma City. To meet strict windstorm and hail requirements, Coontz Roofing, installed a high-performance roofing system designed for durability and efficiency.

The assembly featured Carlisle’s 1.75-inch InsulBase Polyiso insulation, a VSH-rated cover board, and FleeceBACK® TPO membrane with Octaguard XT weathering technology, delivering superior puncture resistance and long-term protection.

Despite harsh winter conditions, Coontz Roofing maintained productivity by using heated spray rigs to keep adhesive at optimal temperatures. Crews installed up to 25,000 square feet of membrane daily, ensuring rapid progress without compromising quality.

The project was completed 45 days ahead of schedule, including a custom-color logo integrated into the roof design an impressive achievement that highlights both craftsmanship and innovation.

By combining advanced materials with expert installation, Coontz Roofing delivered a solution that safeguards this state-of-the-art facility against extreme weather, ensuring operational reliability for years to come.
