The Engineers Day, 15 September, 2025 was celebrated by the Engineers Club of Jorhat, Assam in a dignified manner in its permanent building developed in the heart of the city (Image 1).

On the occasion of the celebration of this day, the members of the Club brought out a Souvenir (Image 2) through which, a number of articles, as reflected in the Content Page (Image 3) on many an important topic came to light.

Many important topics such as Engineers can Adapt, Lead and Thrive in the Next Decade, A Brief Note on Cement Concrete Pavement or Pavement Quality Control etc. (as reflected by the content page of Image 3) will benefit the younger generation of engineers. My own article published in this Souvenir has been reproduced below for the benefit of those involved in different activities of NGOs.
The publication of a Souvenir of this standard is a clear demonstration of the capabilities and expertise available with the Jorhat Engineers Club, Assam. I myself have been receiving encouragements and benefits on many occasions. As an example, the motivation derived by me for writing my second book (Reference No. 2 in the above—given article reproduced from this Souvenir) may be referred to.
